The Swiss capital Berne was named on the list of the healthiest European capital cities as number three this week. This is why. The top of the ‘best country’ lists of metrics is often seen from Switzerland and its cities. Switzerland is not as neutral with regard to overcoming all sorts of rankings from public transport to stability. Treated, Swiss capital Bern has placed on the third place in the list of safe capitals this week.
Bern has won its place on this list, from clean air and water to low CO2 emissions and the highest quality of life in any city surveyed. A total of 46 cities, with only Copenhagen (first) and Wien (second) beaten by Bern, were considered. The dubious honor, followed by Moscow and Bucharest, was snatched by Baku in Azerbaijan.
The study examined a number of factors, such as the World Bank and the World Population Report, from international sources to compile the list. Ten metrics have been taken into account on the basis of which the Bern is considered a healthy country. The costs of a gym membership, life expectancy, air quality, quality of water, quality of life, health costs, food costs, CO2 pollution, easy walking and cycling and green space availability, all these factors have been considered.
Bern is at the top of the list of businesses with the highest air quality, life quality, GDP amount spent on health care and life expectancy. Berne is the second most expensive city in Europe to purchase fruit and vegetables, due to the low cost of health clubs. In fact, it might not be a capital, but Berne is known in Switzerland as the “federal region”-but that the quirk of the historic nature makes it any less secure.
